Swedish Massage is the most common therapeutic massage performed in the United States . A Swedish massage focuses on overall relaxation , circulation , physical and mental wellness. Swedish Massage includes stretching , gliding , kneading, tapping, and cross-friction strokes to provide the relaxation that the body needs. These techniques are combined to improve circulation, relax the muscles , and help improve the flow of the lymphatic system . The lymphatic system is a key component to the immune system . Extremely important to take care of our immune systems.

Deep Tissue Massage

 Deep tissue massage is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue . This technique involves the therapist using knuckles , elbows, firm pressure and slow gliding stokes to reach deeper in the muscles and fascia ( the connective tissue surround muscles). Deep tissue can be helpful for athletes who are considerably hard on their bodies, those who are undergoing physical therapy to help aid them in the breakdown of scar tissue , and anyone who has dense tissue can benefit .
