I am aware that there are many unforseeable events that can happen in ones day to day life. In my commitment to providing a healing, unique and outstanding massage experience to all of my clients and the consideration of my energy, I’ve incorporated the following policies :
Arrival To your Massage :
Mobile Clients- Please be ready 10 minutes prior to start time of massage for my arrival to your home as well as a space already cleared for my set up. If you need assistance moving around furniture , please inform me and I’m happy to help.
**PETS**- I have no problem with Pets being out during the massage. I would advise you to please put your pets away IF you know for a fact they are not too fond of guest and can be territorial. Please use your intuition and best judgment with this. You know your pets =]
Sovern Clients - Please arrive to your appointment 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. This time will allow you to find parking, relax , and get into a more peaceful mindset. This also gives us a moment to chat and connect before starting the session. All Massages have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience.
If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. The original treatment time will be charged. If I have no tight schedule around your appointment , this should not be a problem and you will receive your full treatment time. Communication is KEY!
Please Provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your session. If you need to cancel day of your massage, there will be no charge if you cancel more than a hour before your session. Canceling within a hour of your session, you will be charged the same as a no show fee of $50.
Therapist regains the rights to terminate a session at any time for inappropriate conduct from the client. This includes but is not limited to inappropriate touching, vulgar language , harassment, or intoxicated client. No refund will be given to client if the session is terminated early.
No Show Policy:
Clients who fail to show for their appointments will be charged $50. My time and energy is valuable and will be compensated for reserved time slots.
Other Massage Policies
Respect for clients needs and boundaries:
I am happy to adjust pressure, table warmer temperature , musical volume,working longer on an area or move on if you request it. Sessions are uniquely designed for your healing.
The client may choose to : Refuse any massage methods, stop massage at any time. Please do not hesitate to express anything to me that may make you feel uncomfortable.
Massages can sometimes create a emotional response and some clients will feel the need to cry. If this happens, it is okay to express the feelings that arise . I am here to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment for you and i am open to listening . If you would like to end the session, you may do so.
Existing and New Medical Conditions:
It is the clients responsibility to update me and inform me of any medical conditions and treatments being taken, and to have written permission from their physician, chiropractor, e.t.c that the massage can be continued. Your health is vital and I want to make sure we are all on the same page with this. Some medical conditions and medications can be a contraindication to massage , and I would like for the sessions to assist in your healing journey , not cause harm.
